THE TANJUNG BATU

My name is Muhammad Aminudin Bin Mohd Rahim (S20686) Tanjung Batu is the most popular spot for recreation in Bintulu area. Tanjung Batu  also known as “Pantai Temasya” of the people of Bintulu. As we arrive there, we feels that Tanjung Batu is the  suitable places for recreation because we can feel the blow of the breeze at the beach . The situation is so relaxes. We can breath in the fresh air that will recover energy of our body and relaxing our mind. There are many activities that can be done. As example, the activites that can be done are like jogging and cycling.

The special about Tanjung Batu is there had many island that we can arrive just by walking with our pair of legs. It is because the island is the form of tombolo that the beach is connect to the island. As we arrive at the top one of island, there will be the beautiful and great point of view. It feels like we can see all area of Tanjung Batu. When we feels so exhausted, we freshen our bodies with drink fresh “ Kelapa Pandan”. It feel so great. We satishfied as we go to Tanjung Batu.

Hi, my name is Muhd Fauzan Bin Mohd Yazid (S20426). At 23 August^st  ,Universiti Putra Malaysia call motivator from Peninsular Malaysia to give motivation to student UPM. The motivator name is En. Khidir bin Majid. He is alumni upmkb. He is very inteligent person. He come here to give motivation to support we all in studies. The tittle motivation is from zero to hero. This motivation do at Dewan Sri Kenyalang. Many student in upm join this motivation. En. khidir tells we us about his experience and tips to success in studies. He has more knowledge.

En. Khidir tell we all about his family. I hear he tell his family is poor family . His father and mother work hard to get money to give he to futher their studies. Their family hope he success in studies and can help his family . He take course diploma perhutanan at upm and futher studies in degree in course management and now he work at bank. His has more experience in his life.

We get more knowledge in this motivation.  We very happy join this motivation. Now we want to be hero . I hope he want come again to upmkb to give motivation.

24 Aug 2014,28 Syawal 1453…. from campus at 10.00am… it’ is take 8.4 minutes to arrive at TamanTumbina Bintulu . The best place in Bintulu, the first of its kind in the land of the hornbill J

TAMAN TUMBINA BINTULU is an integration of a botanical garden and zoological garden.The name TUMBINA originates from the malay words TUMbuhan (plant) and BINAtang(animal). Offically opened 2 August 1991,TUMBINA provides a glimpse of the diverse flora and fauna of Sarawak. It’s a living heritage with both recreational and educational values for visitors from walks of life.

Spreading over a hilly and undulating terrain of 57 hectares, TUMBINA is strategically situated on a breathtaking site overlooking the South China Sea, Bintulu town centre and Tanjung Kidurong Industrial Estate.

Being The First Of Its Kind In The Land of The Hornbill, TUMBINA is a unique attraction and a must-visit place whenever you are in BIntulu.

With the other half of our group of us together relish natural beauty in the garden, at the same time, we can see the rare animal species we see in front of our own eyes .... it is very awesome. : D, as well as get to know the animals, we were able to increasing our   knowledge about the habitat of the animals.

Between places that we've visited and observed the animal is Hornbill. Hornbill at Tumbina Collection is the largest collection in terms of number of species exhibited at any one time in this part of Sarawak.

The  special bird that we've seen and we've seen with the eyes and nose is Tiung Emas., this species can record your voice when you're talking or produce specific words such as hello, good morning, and welcome . For me, it's the first time I look the animal that can do that.It’s powerful :D

Other than that,we  found the intersting place at the park, it is reptilia kompleks.. Kompleks Reptilia is where you have the opportunity to glimpse through the world of reptiles :D....Exhibited are the crocodiles,tortoises and pythons.

The Tiger,is the only pair in Sarawak. Both are born and bred in Tumbina

The Greater Flamingo, specially brought in from Tanzania in 1991, is the only collection of this species in Sarawak. Breeding wise, it’s a success story. Presently, more than 7 birds were bred in Tumbina.

FIESTA CHARITY FUTSAL UPMKB

                                       Everyone...

        I'm Athirah Binti Rajuddin from Diploma of Agriculture, S20026☺️. Okay back to my story! The topic that I'm going to share is about  what is happening on 16 August at my University, (University Putra Malaysia). Well, Diploma PerniagaanTani or as known as Agribiz (sem3&5) has organized a futsal tournament! It be held for two days 16 & 17 August. There's a few groups of students UPMKB which is include Mahasiswa (boys) and Mahasiswi (girls). My coursemate Diploma Pertanian (sem1) only send one group to participate the tournament including my team  
(DPT FC). ✌️✌️ Each team has 8 players all together. This is my team! :)

In addition, my team is in group A. We played 3 games. First game we won with score 5-3, we meet team "Banana B". Second game we won again!! with team "Manuk-manuk FC" with score 2-0. GREAT right??☺ and Third game we meet ''Pra Dip'' and the result is draw 1-1. And last but not least, we manage to go to semi final!! we felt very proud and happy. The next day 17 August 2014 (SUNDAY) we had another match for semi final and we played 2 games. First game for semi final we won again with score 1-0, we meet team "DPNT sama-sama naik" and last match, we meet again with "Banana B".We lost with them with score 1-3..It very bad but it's ok, we enjoyed that day. At the end, my team 

 "DPT FC" got second place in the tournament!!

KESPER - YOU AND I (DPT & DPPM)

Hey, everyone! My name is Nur Shahirah Binti Azeli Shah from Diploma Of Agriculture, S21105. You can call me Syira :) I would like to share some moments that I went through with my friends and seniors in our Science and Agriculture Club. This program was run to strengthen the relationship between juniors and seniors. Here we go.

First of all, before the activities get started, the event organizer made a meeting to talk about the program so that all of us got to know how the activities are carried out. We were all ready and enthusiastic after the meeting because those activities sounded fun. 

The next day, at 8 p.m. we were all gather at Dataran Pusat Pelajar. We were given a briefing and divided into 15 groups. Each group got about 12 members. We appointed a chief that could managed our members to win the games. My group chose a good one. After that, our chief went to take a map that contained numbers, places, and the activities that we were all will be doing. We were all doing fine at the first activity, but then, next activities went more challenging and tiring. But to win this games, my group members never gave up and continued the schedules. Unfortunately, we had no time left because at some of the activities we got a problem to solve the games and got a penalty, so that is why. While keep moving to continue other checkpoint, the time was over. The members in my group were kind of disappointed, the chief tried to keep them calm. He said that we had tried our best to win the explorace. Afterward, we were given a break before the organizer give onward briefing. We were all exhausted. And yes, we can went back to hostel so that we may clean ourselves and sleep. 

At 2:30 in the morning, some seniors woke us up by knocking on our doors room by room to get ready for Suhoor because the program was held in the month of Ramadhan. Juniors and Seniors had Suhoor together at Kolej Kediaman 2. We gather around at Dataran C after some meals. We were about to walk together in group to perform our Fajr prayer for muslims. When we had done, the next activity started. We had exercises and some dancing actions. We were enjoyed because with this program we could made new friends, new experiences, new environment. The closing ceremony began with prize presentation session. Although just 3 winners were crowned and got their prizes, my group members and others too were still okay and we don't mind because lose or win is the rules of any game. Positive thinking can build positive atmosphere, so that what we did. We took some pictures, or to be up to date people nowadays called it selfie. Here are some but not all of them,
